What really matters at home is simpler: can it replace the oven on busy nights, handle a proper family portion, cook evenly, stay reasonably quiet and not be a pain to clean? We ran the Ninja Foodi Dual Zone AF300UK and COSORI Dual Air Fryer TwinFry 10L through the same everyday routine: frozen chips and breaded chicken for lazy evenings, mixed veg and chicken thighs for “we should eat better”, plus a few leftover-reheat rounds. That let us see their real strengths in capacity, cooking results, speed, noise and day-to-day usability.

Ninja went first and is very easy to live with. Two identical 3.8 L drawers (7.6 L total) keep the logic simple, with clear modes (Air Fry, Max Crisp, Roast, Bake, Reheat, Dehydrate). SYNC lines up mains and sides at different temperatures so they finish together; MATCH copies one drawer’s settings for bigger batches. In our tests, a 3–4 person portion of fries and chicken cooked faster than in a normal oven, with crisp outsides and decent juiciness as long as we didn’t overfill the drawers. Reheat worked well on pizza and chips, bringing back a bit of crunch instead of just drying things out. Separate drawers also keep fish and veg from sharing flavour. Cleanup is straightforward: non-stick drawers and crisper plates come out quickly for a soak or a dishwasher run. In use, the Ninja’s fan noise is fairly soft and doesn’t really get in the way of normal conversation. COSORI TwinFry 10L feels like the bigger, more “serious” option. The 10 L basket with removable divider can act as two 5 L zones or one big space for a whole chicken with potatoes. With top-and-bottom heating and strong, even airflow, large trays of wedges and veg browned very evenly when the basket was reasonably full, with fewer pale spots and less shaking. Its VeSync app is a real plus: you can preheat from another room, get phone alerts when food is done and follow built-in recipes when your brain is tired after work, which makes it feel closer to a smart mini-oven than a basic fryer. The COSORI has a slightly more noticeable hum at full power, but once the TV or a podcast is on it fades into the background.

You give it more counter space and a bit more budget, but gain real oven-style flexibility, a basket you can properly fill and genuinely useful smart features through the VeSync app. Short version: smaller household, simple routine → Ninja; bigger portions, lots of prep and you like the idea of a smart mini-oven → COSORI TwinFry 10L.
